Steam friends disapeared!?

Im so confused! All my Steam friends have disappeared? Its happened to my mate aswell?

Is anyone else having this problem?
 
The most recent Steam updates have been doing really strange things. I haven't had that problem, but it's been just acting weird in general...

Yep, just checked my friends list in steam and they're all gone. I used my "recent games" players list and got some of them back. One of them had the same thing happen to him. I think it's probably happened across the board. Well, time to add some new friends. Let's play some games!!!!

It looks like they're working on a fix to this as we speak. Don't panic just yet. :)
