I just bought a 40 dollar game pac from steam CS source... but when i go to my games and try to play teh game i dosen open it says preparing to open game the stops same with ALL the other games that came pack... Anyone please help
 
yah, what you actually bought was a license for each of the games in the pack, now it actually has to download the games so you can play them. Leave it on ovrnight.
 
Have you restarted your computer? When I first installed HL2 and CS:S they wouldn't work but after I restarted they worked perfectly.
 
yeh, thats like the most basic version of the game, when you first run it it updates itself to the newest version, with new maps/textures etc..... just let it do what its gotta do.
 
ts done EVERYTHING look at the screen 100%... I rebooted several times and it STILL won't work anyone? PLease
 
yes, its 100% of the base files, not updated files, jsut let the dam thing update for schrist sake, all this time youve sat here talking you could have had it upadted by now.
 


I right clicked on the counter strikre source game.. then clicked properties. the local files then verufy teh integrity of gem cache... odes that mean that the gam is done?
