steam question

I don't really use steam that much, but I reformatted my pc, and re-installed steam and I can't figure out how to get my downloaded games back. on my account it says I have nothing in my transaction history...I think.

You have installed steam, click library at the top and your games will be listed.

Double click a game you want to install, and it will ask if you want to download it, prepare it, then start downloading

EDIT: bah, forget steam. when I bought bad company 2, I couldn't play past a certain mission else it would just close out of the game, I re-format try playing a demo and it shuts my pc down while setting it up for the first time....
