Steam Released 64-Bit Support

I think you may need to have Windows XP Pro x64 in order to use any 64 bit program, but im not sure. I too would like to know if there will be a noticable difference.

Just wondering, but why does it say everywhere "Athlon 64 FX", shouldnt it work on Athlon 64 systems too?

More like a 64 bit processer...

looks like they're also advertising amd's top of the line processor too.
i suppose if they start updating the game to take advantage of 64-bit processing they could make the environments more detailed

really? I remembered that if you just copy the tag over, it displays at max res...

Some have said that they didn't need Windows XP 64-bit, Steam automatically identified the processor as a 64-bit if they had it and it ran the games in 64-bit.
