My video card keep overheating it gone up to 170 F which will cause small sloppy 3D graphic.

Should I buy PCI Slot Case Cooler? that will blow the air in and out to the video card fan.

or Is it my power supply? My video card recommended 400W with 12V current rating of 20A. Mine power supply is 380W and 12V 18A. My power supply hook up to one DVD/CD combo drive, one hard drive, two case blue lights, two case fans, one CPU fan, Video Card, Video Card Fan and motherboard.

It won't be your PSU causing it to overheat...

What does it do to make the game go funny?
Do you have a fan next to the GPU fan, is the fan on the graphics card spinning?

It just making few of 3D getting flickering as my video card reach more than 175F. Yes, video card fan is spinning full speed. It work hot in gaming but it cool off a lot in window.

My last video card fan get warp, melted a little, and stop working which cause all of 3D flickering stretch to top left of the screen. I got replace fan without LEDs in a week ago.

There is nothing blowing to video card fan. The first case fan is blowing to CPU fan which is right above of Video Card but the video card fan is under of video card. The second case fan is on right side of the video card to blow out all the heat out of the video card to out of the front case.

That fan that you have by the HDD, turn it around so that it blows air onto the graphics card, see if that helps any.

See the pictures in my signature, I have fans blowing at my GPU, this will help a lot, mine runs at 44c.

but this video card is blowing hot air out of the right side of the video card and cool air is going in the middle of the video card. It running 125 F in window.

I would try it and see what it does, it doesn't do any harm to try.

If it still carrys on being really high, look into getting a new video card cooler.

So it ran warmer with the different cooler on?

What I meant was buy a graphics card cooler, they make the especially... I'd take a look at them.

Yeah, try a new fan. If this card was running fine before you got the new fan then it rules out a flaky GPU.

Oh and when you put the new fan on you did remember to apply thermal compound, correct? If you didn't then that's the problem. :P

His card ran cooler with the celly hs.

175 before
162 now.

Temps are better, but I would probably just get a special cooler for the graphics card. Also, if you can lower the ambient temps in the case then you would have better temps. Make sure you have good airflow throughout the case, not just there. You want good intakes, and good exhausts.

I would try a new PSU, even though it is not putting out heat. I think you should get a new one b/c of the stress that is on it from the GPU.

From the pics posted i don't see how it could be airflow. If it's still hot with the side casing off then it isn't airflow.. it's something else
