hello guys, long time since i been on here. I was looking at get myself a new computer few months ago but finances said no. But now im actually working and can afford some stuff, wondering if this build is alright? Simillar to what i was planning on before, im looking at cheapest things possible but still want the performance so if you see anything i could save some cash on it would be much appreciated.

Ok sure, They should be cheaper, if not, nothing lost, you haven't ordered yet, but overall, the build looks good!
 
Only thing i was slightly concerned with was the mobo, anybody had any experience or heard anything about it? Cheap case thats doesn't look pig ugly?

Just been reading that intel are releasing new processors soon therefore q6600 should drop in price. Any ideas when that will be? Remember seing little tables before with price drops for all the intel cpu's and when (might have been dreaming?)
 
jan 08! Might be too long to wait, any ideas how much its gonna drop by, cant imagine it being much as 140 quids not that much anyways

lol, Thanks man! It's a good case, really good for the price, get some blue cathodes for £3 too off ebuyer! :D

Also, take a look at the drive bay mod I did with the 80mm fan, if you don't use them, it's excellent. Also, I got an adaptor to put my HDD in the drive bay slot and stuck a 120mm fan where the HDD's should be, take a look in the sig, you'll see what I mean ;)
 
Ha, yeh think the cathodes are a must. Oh yeh that looks pretty good, wil be handy when OC. i fancy getting a nice cpu cooler after a while and then see what we can get out of the 6600 :D
