Stock HSF Question.

I bought a Q9400 for my first build, but I'm concerned about the HSF. I've been told more than once that the stock HSFs suck and that I should look into getting another one. Thoughts?
 
Well depends on what you want from your computer. If you want to OC then you should definitely get an aftermarket heatsink. You should also get another heatsink if you want a quieter heatsink.

Well, I might want to OC down the road and I'm all about future proofing. Can you or anyone recommend a good HSF for this processor that preferably doesn't have the pushpins? It's going in an Antec 900 case.
