Storage of favorite websites

Does anyone know where Internet Explorer stores the Favorite Website List?
For some reason, my XP gets very sluggish after a while, and when I can not create or it refuses to get back to a Restore Point, I know it is time to start over again and reload XP back in.
With that, however, I loose some things I was used to, and amoung those is the Favorite list. It would be nice if I could reload them back in.
Anyone has an idea where to look for it? It would be nice if I could make a copy of it before I replaced the OS.
 
Thanks fellows! That helps for the next time I have to reload XP in.
I see that IE stores the names on the list as shortcuts. Makes it easy to copy and store them somewhere externally.
