Strange Crashes?

Synthetic

Well recently I have been getting strange crashes where I would be doin something and randomly my computer reboots  ... I have no idea what it is? A virus maybe?

Just looking for opinions on what it could be, solutions come later...

How would I do that? (check the temps) I know my vid card has a little temp thing, but not my CPU or mobo?

AMD 64 3000+ Venice

EDIT: Also when I get back into windows after a crash, it says:

"Microsoft Windows Has Recovered from a Serious Error"

Would it say that if it was overheating probs.?

you would have to do it with software.
Download Sandra. You can just google it.
It'll tell you what the temps are. You can also see them in some BIOSes

tss... download.com i use it sometimes, but generally people say that clnet are finished.
Yeah, I hardly ever use it too, but it's sometimes easier to grab a utility when needed or when I tell someone to download a utility. As for CNet, I like the site, dont use it as much either, but I love the video reviews. Although, it's not very thorough, you really get an idea how the product is before you go buy it.

Theres that and its also legal. You can also see the popularity of the program, and the search option is really good. But i don't really use it. (sounds like a great site the way we described it).
