strange dvd thing?

i just bought acer 5534-1096. its working perfect even its dvd drive also working fine but there is something wrong wiht it...it allows to read content from cd's or dvd's but when ever i try to write something it says no cd/dvd in drive.(Magic ISO message)
but

on the other hand windows 7 shows the message "burn dvd/cd"

whats wrong with it?????its says super double shiit on drive.....

try img burn http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download and make sure that you have a rewritable DVD inside and that you are selecting the right drive, as if you use daemon tools you could confuse the virtual image drive with the real one...perhaps. .hope this helps
