Hello!
On my laptop I cracked internal monitor
, and because of that I dismounted it so its not in my way. Now I have connected external display and before formatting computer everything worked fine. But after format, the external monitor is recognized as my laptop's 
and because of that i can't change resolution... NOW WHAT??
I already tried installing display drivers, reinstalling GPU drivers and nothing changes. And by the way, if I restart computer only windows loading screen is shown and when it enter the system monitor goes idle, so I have to put computer to hibernation and again power it on to have monitor working

External monitor is Samsung conected over VGA (via Acer's adapter)
