Strange Harddrive problem

I added a 80Gig slave harddrive to my computer in my bios it says two 80 gig harddrive one master and slave but when i go to my computer i only see the master how can i get both to show up so i can access things on it?
 
In Windows 2000 and XP, your new drive will not appear at all in My Computer until you format it. To format the drive in Windows 2000 or XP, right-click on My Computer and go to "Manage". In the window that comes up, click Disk Management in the left pane. Once it loads, you should see an "Initialize Disk" wizard pop up. :)
