Strange restarting problem

I've got a problem where when I turn my computer on it often keeps restarting and restarting after the mobo bleep for a while then eventually gets into windows, also if i nudge the tower at any point during use it restarts and has the same kinda clicking sound.
I've had a look inside and given all the components and cables a good push in as i thought it might of been a loose connection, made sure the PSU cable was connecting properly and have even tried another power cable and it's still happening. Any ideas what could be the problem?
 
In my old system I had that same problem. I figured out that it was my cpu heatsink that was shorting out my motherboard. It could also be a snag in your windows and you may have to run a backup.
