Strange speed problem with external 3.5 case

Helloo! :)

I have Asus M4N78 SE.

I recently bought a USB 2.0 external case for 3,5" hard disk.

I connected to this mobo, I tried all 12 usb ports but the transfer speed is always... 1MB/s :confused:

I tried the device to different a pc and speed was ok.
I also tried another usb device(a stick) to m4n78 se and speed seemed to be ok.

So...
do you have any idea why the speed is just 1MB/sec?
Is there anything I can do to work properly my external case?
 
See if you can connect the drive directly to the pc and see what happens. Most of the time its either the cable or case causing the issue.
 
Disk is ok. So far I used it as internal. I took this case in order to make disk external.

I don't thik that cable maybe be the problem because, as I said, I tried the case in another pc and works fine.
