Strange Virus, cant install any antivirus

One of my friend has got a strange virus in his computer.

Registry editing and task manager has been disabled and any third party task manager and reg editor cant be installed, as the install terminates abruptly.

It has corrupted the files of the antivirus installed (Avira Personal, updated regularly), and wont let any other antivirus install. the installation appears and goes off in a second. nothing more happen. i have tried a lot of antiviruses, but on the first place, they cant be installed, leave alone scanning etc.

is anyone out there experienced a similiar situation.

Any suggetions??

I think formatting is the last option..
 
hey man, the system wont even install malware byte or hijack this.
Whenever i click setup, the installation process terminates on its own.
 
if you get really stuck you can do a complete system restore
or maybe find the virus and delete it in safe mode
 
too late, i formatted it. it was the last option for me.
Any way no problem at all, i knew i had to do this.

shame, you could've just put malware or combofix on a flash drive and it could've done the trick
 
try booting in safe mode then start the setup.. as administrator ... and continue with installation ... buddy
ne ways hw was ur trip ?? to ranchi??
