Strangeness......

Hey

Okay, my site (www.splinterclothing.co.uk) works fine on IE. But on AOL, it will only open if it doesnt have the 'www.' or it has a '/' at the end of it :-S

i thought it may have been an old version being stored on my cookies; thats not the case.....

i thought it may have been that my index was an HTM, and not an HTML file as its the opening page....but thats not the case.....

I need help really soon, so any help would be REALLy great

So I'm assuming you did the ctrl+f5 thing right? That usually helps me, but if it isn't in your cookies then that shouldn't do anything.

Theres quite a few problems viewing on firefox aswell, if your using any complex stuff like java or PHP then try to pahse it out of the site and stick to standard aminstream HTML.

ah, well i know it dont work on AOL, someone sed it didnt work on firefox for them...

is it because its not compatible with all browsers? how do i make it compatible?

I'm use Firefox all the time and Firefox is starting to overtake IE, so you might want to sort out that problem pronto if you want to make your site make a better impact on people. What software are you using to make the website.
P.S. I made my website (www.elvenrings.tk) with FrontPage and it does insert a few lines of text that make it exclusive to IE. I can't locate the code but I'll post it as soon as I'v found it.
