streaming video 100% processor

I was wondering is it ok to run my processor at 100% for hours while I am watching streaming video does it hurt the processor to run for hours and hours at 100% it is a laptop and the fan is working good it will spead up and down as nessisary. also my ram is not at max is it proboly useing about 2/3rds of my ram to run it

Make sure all your fan vents are not obstructed so the notebook can have proper airflow (generally good to keep it on a hard surface like a table). I don't think it would harm it.
 
you mean even if it is working hard all the way for hours it doesnt wear it out at all or kurplunk all of a sudden is there any limits that I should abide by?
 
If you use the processor all the time and it is continually working at 100 percent it will likely shorten its lifespan. It would likely be a few years before it would fail though in my opinion if it isn't running 24 hours a day seven days a week.
 
CPUs are made to be able to run at max for hours. If you aren't overclocking then technically you could run for days at max with no ill effects.
