Streaming Video

what is a good free non trial program to copy streaming video from the internet. a program that would be able to copy videos from say sites like ebaums world, break.com and college humor.com.

any help would be great.

i had a trial program once that was great but forgot the name.

i have streambox vcr. works fairly good, never tried any other one.

if you use the firefox browser you can download an extention that lets you open, download and save streaming media files. Only works if they are media player compatable or another media centre that you can save files on.

basically it lets you open media in mediaplayer and when it has finished downloading the file (or after it has downloaded a set amount in other media centres) you just save it to your computer like a normal file

ps have just tried the extention on break.com and it works fine, didnt try the others tho

None that were given worked for me including mozilla.

how come? what was the problem?
copy the mms stream into streambox vcr and download.

just dont what to do.....do i save the webpage under the file drop down menu?

Using the firefox add-on open the link in WMP and wait until it has finished downloading it (the seek bar goes green to show how much it has downloaded, when it goes back to normall and you can seek though the video it has downloaded ll the file.)

Then go File>Save As and save the file like normal.
