stupid error pop up, how do I fix it?

hi all

every 10-20mins I get this little pop up

Error: Runtime error 2 at 00A349C1

How can I fix this?

Does it say anbything else, like mention a programme? If not, possible a reinstall of your OS will solve it. Or possible attempt to correct the registry.
 
I am currently use windows xp sp2, so do I just run the sp2 software again?
it doesn't mention about anything else.
what do u mean by correcting the registry part?
 
Ok, go to start, run and type msconfig. then on the dialog that loads go to startup, disable all the boxes, so un tick them apart from your antivirus software. apple the change, and re boot machine.

if error doesnt load then it had go to be some software which was on load of windows. then if no error, u can then if you want start ticking the boxes one by one to see whuich programme produces the error.
 
Okay. You do realise that when you say SP2 thats just a service pack for XP. If you have to re install your operating system this involves installing it with the XP Disc. As for service pack 2, dependant on how old your copy of XP is it may have SP2 built in to the disc, if not it will mean your SP2 will be on a seperate disc, surprisingly labelled Service Pack 2 disk. Hope this all helps.
 
Go to Internet Options
Advanced

Put a tick against "Disable Script Debugging"
Untick "Display a notification about every script error":)
