Anyone know this fan connector?

Hey CF

Has anyone seen this type of fan connector before?

It's from a HP MicroServer G8 (784918-425) and it's connected to a 120mm fan.
I have actually been looking to buy one of these, as they're only about 10-20% more expensive than a good quality 4-bay NAS (this one has 4 bays as well).
Today I'm configuring one for a client, which gives me the option to really check it out in person, and I was wondering if it was possible to swap out the fan (hopefully via 3/4-pin -> ThisConnector adapter)
But I've never seen this connector before and I hope it's not really proprietary and impossible to work with :)

Any ideas?

(PS I considered posting this in 'Computer Cases, Power Supplies and Cooling', but I didn't think it'd fit as I know about the cooling :D)

I considered the static molex voltage route, but they really care about controlling their fans these servers (I've configured quite a few of the large ones).
This sentence from your, very interesting, link describes it pretty well:
Even slower rated fans will work without triggering the MS Gen8's draconian fail-safe system.
I'd much prefer it not screaming at me that the fans don't work, so I'll look in to that conversion :)
