Hey Guys whats it called i have heard a special name for psu's when the cables are like wrapped in shrinkwrap when you buy it i want one like that and i'm confused on what to search for..

its called 'modular'

No, a modualr PSU is one that you plug the cables that you need in.

What he wants is a PSU with sleeved cables.

like the main ATX cable is here:

dang! i got it wrong... always thought that modular means the cable is separated in sleeves. guess not...

now it all make sense... when i was looking for PSU it says no modular cabling support but when i looked at the pics posted, it was sleeved... was confused for a while and decided to ignore it...

turns out i got the definition wrong :o

thanks Kornowski for clearing that up! :D

Just to talk about sleeving, my PSU has sleeving on all cables (in UV colors) and it is great. It makes the cables a little bigger, but makes cable management easier, without having to mess with each individual wire.

He has sleeved cables on his PSU, they're just UV cables, so they'll glow a certain colour when there's a UV light around.
Thanks, lol :D
