what would happen if i take all the ram out of my computer and try to turn it on. i would just do it myself but i don't wanna take the chance of destroying anything.
 
ok thanks. it was just some stupid question that popped into my head last night. i figured this would be the smartest way to get it answered.
 
lol funny thing cuz my friend had a problem where he forgot to put ram in comp :eek: and i knew he forgot but hey...it was a dell!

so i looked on as he (a 20 year old college studint) was shoked to see why his comp wont go into win xp screen...

so i watched n watched and then after a few minutes of watching i told him..

"dude u forgot to put ram in"
......
"wtf is ram?"
....... can u say lOL!
"i left"
and slammed door behind me..
 
hmm...after reading that it made me wonder why it wouldnt just use the page file(assuming there is one.). o well even though actual ram is best.
