Stupid question

Ok, I just bought all the components for a computer, except I haven't purchased the video card yet (I will be using onboard video until I can afford one).

So here s my question: Will a pci express 2.0 video card work with a mother board with a pci-express 1.0 slot.

Yes 99% of the time, think there were some VIA and SIS chipsets that had PCIe 1.0 slot that had a problem. But most were fixed with a bios update. Unless its a top end card like a 4870/280 you dont really get and loss.
