I've been (trying) to pull apart my old PC, and my question is can you remove the CPU and if so, how? I've been looking around it for a while and can't seem to find a way.
yes, you can , usually the socket will have a leaver, and all you do is just pull it up and the cpu will come out very easy....if your having trouble just tell us which kind of mobo you have and then we'll know what to do...
Actually, you have to get the heatsink off first, unless it's a slot style processor. Those either just slide out, or you have to do something with tabs on either side.
