Subtitle File???

So I have a subtitle file (.SRT), and a divx (the movie) file. I want to somehow make the .srt file merge with the movie, so when I stick it in my dvd player, there will be subtitles with the movie. I've done my burns so far as a "data disc" according to Nero... Any help would be appreciated.

Your DVD player will have to support SRT's. Otherwise, you can use virtualdubmod to 'burn' the subs into the video...

You will need to hardsub the subtitle file to the movie file.
Many different ways you can go about doing it.

Here's how I do it.
You will need the SRT to SSA converter which you can find online. You need to convert your SRT to an SSA format.
Then, you will need VirtualDub to hardsub that SSA to the movie.
Both programs can be found free online.
