succesfully overclocked

overclocked my pc fromk 1.66 Ghz to 2.00 Ghz now it runs like a dream with just a litttle bit of stress but its ok it dosent get past 54 celcius upgrading to 1 gig of ram on friday

first, dont hijack threads, start a new thread for a new problem

second i doubt that your loss of sound was an effect of your overclocking:
i recommend 2 solutions
a) reduce the oc back to stock levels and see if sound returns (i doubt)
b) start a new thread in the sound card section

Well FYI, your chip was actually stock clocked at 1743MHz ... not 1.5Ghz ... you sure you had this chip and [supposedly] overclocked it? (Funny how i need to correct you on the clock speed of your own chip)
