Sudden Odd Internet Issues

A few days ago out of the blue I began having some internet issues I've never experienced before. Most of the time Facebook loads just fine, other times it won't load pictures but I can still get on it. Sometimes it will load Google and let me search but when I try to click on any of my search results they won't load. And sometimes nothing at all will load and it acts like I have no internet service at all. But at the same time, I can play WoW and use Ventrilo with no problems at all, and my Xbox 360 signs into Live just fine. My only theory is that since WoW, Vent, and the 360 have no issues while my browsing does that it might be an issue with certain ports.

Right now I'm not sure what to do. Last night everything worked just fine, today it started to work but it's suddenly going back to it's problem so I decided to post this while I could. Dunno if it might be the DSL modem, the router, or just my computer wigging out that might be fixed with a reformat (which I REALLY don't want to do). All my virus and malware scans have come up empty so I'm at a loss as to what the problem might be. Any thoughts you guys might have would be greatly appreciated.
 
Try doing a system restore back to a day everything was working correctly and let us know the results. Also, what browser do you use, is it Internet Explorer?
 
I use Chrome for Facebook and gmail and IE for about everything else while I slowly convert to Chrome, but both yield the same results. The only exception is Facebook on Chrome which always works... well usually.

A friend also suggested a system restore so I'll give it a shot tomorrow when I don't have to work.
