it's the second time this happens i thought it was just by chance the last time but looks like there is something wrong
this happened when i inserted a CD in to my DVD drive
it's supposed to read CDs with no problems and write them too and i've tried it before with no problems
the computer resets and the hard drive starts to power up like it does in a cold boot
this is not supposed to happen in a normal restart anyway
here is a screenshot of the error i got from windows

Did you install any new hardware to your system recently which required you to install software for it? The microsoft link is saying the problem was caused by a driver...but doesnt give much detail.

no i didn't
and the microsoft link does not provide any help
i just wanna know if it happened to any of you guys before
and if so what did you do ?

hey, if you cant figure out how to fix it you can always reformat/install windows again.
it's not preventing me from doing anything
it's just an error and it happened i wanna know what is the cause of that

and FYI reformatting is not a wise decision

did this occur with the same CD, trey it again, it may be that the CD is in a very small chance trying to access some form of memory it is not suppose to. That is all I can think of at this moment
