When I try to look at the links on preators thread on computer spec 101 it says
http://www.computerforum.com/81172-computer-specs-101-2007-04-a.html

911aaron, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit some else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I think its the "your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page" part that is not letting me view the page. How do i make my account have sufficient privilege to view the links?

That's a sticky that's closed from posting anything else there. Praetor(one of the forum administrators) would be the one to edit and update that. Just browsing the pages there and reviewing the information shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

What he wants, is to click on one of the budget links and see the build rather than post but those "budget" links doesn't as they should

I just want to check out the links praetor provided. I dont wanna post/edit anything. lol. O well unfortunately it wont let me. I guess their defective liek chupacabra said.

It's because sometime between when that was created and now the post #s have changed. I don't know how but they have. Maybe someone will fix it now that it's been pointed out but theres a lot of links in that thread so you might just have to scroll.

Well as I mentioned earlier the sticky or any other will often need updating. One product link will see a replacement or ommission after any lengthy period of time as Cromewell pointed out. But they were good at the time the sticky was first made up. Often if you run a web search for an older hardware you can run into now blank pages no longer seen as well. Domains will also see changes from time to time.
