Suggestions for laptop for about $1,200?

I'm looking for something similar to a nicely optioned Dell XPS M140 in terms of size, power ect. Want to spend around $1,200-$1,400 give or take. This will be my home and work computer (pictures, video, no gaming really, network at work and home PC use). Any suggestions would be great!
