Suggestions or Comments on My New Site - Leafpods.com

I created a site called Leafpods.com which allows users to create web sites with other people. In theory there could be web sites written by thousands of people. Each web site is called a pod and each individual part, of the web site (a web page) is called a leaf. Each pod (web site) comes with its individual forum where the writers can discuss things about the pod or just socialize.

I am a beginner programmer and I hand coded this entire site in PHP (other than the forums and the WYSIWYG). I was wondering if you can give me suggestions and/or comments about my site.

You website is cool, it's refreshing to the viewer's eye however you should avoid scrolling the website from left to right. try to remove that thing and also in "All pods" page try to give some ideas with the category although it's common sense it is required to put that detail.

And also the website is so plain, just like a cake without an icing design put some design to make it more alive, you need to consider the following.

1. Who are the viewers?
2. What age is your target, is there an age limit in joining to your website?
3. What are the benefits in joining to your site?
4. What kind of designs will you use in order to encourage the viewers to join in your website
5. Where are the IMPACT to your design?

Here are my suggestions:

1. Add some designs that is related to the website, just like a theme.
2. You have to make sure that the theme of you forum is related to the homepage.
