believe it or not, i made a thread on suitecase building process a few months ago, im still currently trying to get a motherboard on it.

and trust me, you'd run into alot of problems lol.

edit: just took a look at your diagrams, what are you gonna do w/ a psu that has a bottem fan? And what are you mounting all your things on? putting it directly onto the case might be a problem cause if you hit the bottem hard enough it'll crack the motherboard.

and what does your case look like? Is it a completely flat one? or is it rounded on the edges, if so, you might have trouble mounting the fans. Also, you'll need to find some hollow columns for the motherboard. Last of all, are you going to mount the I/O plate? And i would suggest you do not directly cut a whole on your case and expose the I/O ports, instead you should see if there are extenders that you can use and mount those on the side of the case, it'll look better.

didn't see you edit liuliuboy, I'll prob build a plywood frame for everything, build on that, and then bolt it into the suitcase. don't have a suitcase yet, still looking for a good hardsided one. I'll expose the I/O ports or maybe put a flap over them. Bottom fan PSU will suck in 20C air from under the case and cool itself that way instead of sucking in 30C air from the case.

well, i've got my troubles and now its kinda stalled and i'm trying to get my hands on a motherboard. Hopefully i'll get one after christmas.

And project umbrella is a completely random name i thought up..lol
