Hey guys. Some of you might have followed me on my last thread on where i could not burn a home movie to a dvd and have it play on all dvd players. I found a program called Super DVD Creator and it works for once! It allows you to convert and burn a .avi file to .vob
I have read some bad stuff about the program though. For example here:
http://download.cnet.com/Super-DVD-Creator/9241-2194_4-10389080-4.html
and here: http://www.freewareland.com/forum.php3?k=1&id=2293&s=1

So i am a bit weary of this.
Does anyone know of a program that will burn .vob files? That program converted too but i have Super Converter which is freeware and it will convert to .vob!
Any idea's?

It isn't uncommon for a burned CD or DVD to fail to play on a different drive, particularly when there is a significant difference in age between the drives. It is also not uncommon for burning software to be compatible with some hardware and not with other hardware when the same age difference exists. As long as the software will work with both drives, the problem is usually the former (hardware issue.) If the software and hardware are incompatible then nothing will make them work together.

My advice is to get some current software - something that was published after your drives. That should take care of the issue regardless of which software you choose.
