Superfetch

Do you need to have the superfetch service running? I had a svchost process that was taking 70mb of ram then after i stoped superfetch it went down to 12mb.

os: windows 7 ultimate 64bit
 
Do you search for a lot of files? Then it doesn't hurt to have it turned off.

If you're less organized, and not sure where you may have put something,
I would leave it on. The search feature in Vista is amazing.

70Mb is nothing, unless your pc is low on memory in the first place.
