Hi, I was wondering if there was some kind of survalence system for pc. Like some kind of software that records video of what people are doing on my pc. I recently discovered lots of viruses from porn websites. I also discovered the history is always gone in my internet browser. I think someone is up to no good. Is there such a software that spys whoever goes on my pc when I am at work?

Practacly everbody that comes to visit me or my mom or sister or brother!

Put a password on your account.

Then create a user account with limited access that everyone else
will use. If they download a virus, at least it won't affect your files,
and it will be easier to clean.

Most important, download AVG Antivirus, and have the background
application always running. If someone tries to run a downloaded
virus or trojan, AVG will block it.

I have avg but that is another thing. My brother noes how to turn it off so does most of the people who go on my computer! And I cant create a separate account. My computer is really old and does not have much memory. 3gb left lol. Is there still some type of security software. Like something that records activity, Whoever goes on my pc?

Closing the AVG tray icon does not close the program. AVG stays running in the
processes list.

You mean - you have 3GB of storage left?

Is this really your computer, or is this family computer, and you just use it all the time?

My computer. I cant lock my brother or anyone out of my computer because it is half my brothers. He told me he never looked at porn but I think he is lieing! YEs I really only have 3gb left!

You seem to believe there is causality between looking at porn and getting a virus or
trojan on the computer. And your efforts to monitor the computer seem to be more
about catching your brother looking at porn, than stopping viruses/trojan from being
downloaded.

Run antivirus and leave a post-it note on the monitor telling people never to close it.
Or download an antivirus software that requires a password to close it.

Gotcha! Just one thing. I want to show my brother he was looking a porn. I rather stop him, Other than the viruses. The viruses I got were to easy to get rid of. But I really would like to catch my brother doing this! He is so sly! I cannot catch him in his act! I no it is him doing this because he always get's on and erases the history!

Google 'monitoring software'.

Home Keylogger
Actual Keylogger
Web protection

The keylogger ones will appear as a trojan/keylogger in your antivirus software.

Windows Live has a free program called family safety that allows you to block mature
sites. Every time the computer starts, the internet won't work, unless an email/pass
is logged in. If it's a limited account, the person won't be able to view mature or
restricted sites. It also keeps a list of all the websites each user visits.

Out of those 3 links. Which one is the best?
