Suspend bug?

OK, this happened with my old laptop too, so maybe someone else has had a similar problem... Basically, when I bring my laptop out of suspend, the processor usuage is stuck around 60%. Nothing on the list shows any usage(beyond normal usage, that is) and System Idle will even be stuck at 99% or whatever. It's really weird, and obviously, there's no way of telling what's causing this to happen.

I know it's not just reading wrong because it's quite clear my laptop's going slower. Not only that, it heats up much quicker. It's an easy fix, just restart, but of course, when you're going into a class, it's nice to have the machine ready rather than waiting for it to boot up :mad:

Any clues? I've not done anything on this machine recently. I really don't do much on it because it is my work machine and I want to avoid crap like this...
 
hmmm, all I can think beyond doing a repair or all that fun stuff is try having it come out of hibernate, shouldn't be any currently running processes that way I'm thinking. On a side note, doesn't it suck when you can answer so many other people's questions but when you're a mod, there's not much in the way of people to answer you? I personally am shooting about 50% for answered questions, but anyways that's my best guess
