Suspended From XBOX Live Without Reason - Courtesy of StripClubDJ

do not have a lot of time to talk, but here is the message I sent to MS:

To XBOX Live Service / Microsoft representative:

Hello, my gamertag is "Anthrax Addict" and my real name is James *******. My XBOX Live account (Anthrax Addict) was suspended from the XBOX Live service today, April 24, 2007. The reason given when I attempt to sign into XBOX Live is that "[My account has been suspended due to a problem with one of your payment options, you can modify this payment option in account management]". I had a credit card linked to my account but it expired in November 2006, so I know that the payment option is not a problem because my XBOX Live subscription is currently running on a 12-month Subscription card, and no Microsoft points have been charged to my account, so there would not be any need for a payment option.

The payment option is not the issue, and I am 100% certain. 2 Days ago, a person with the gamertag "StripclubDJ" (who just recently lost his #1 gamerscore spot on the mygamercard.net leaderboards) sent me a message saying that he had a friend on his friends list who was a high-up in Microsoft and would ban me. I then told him that this person cannot ban me when I have done nothing wrong, but StripclubDJ said that he will ban me because I was being an "***" to him. He said this because him and I are a member of the same forum and he started a thread saying that he was looking for a group of males to get into GamerchiX and take over the leaderboards. I told him that he was immature for doing so, and he got very angry and sent me several messages on XBOX Live saying that he would get his friend from Microsoft to have my account banned.

I called StripclubDJ's bluff because I did not think he was telling the truth, and did not think that there was anyone in Microsoft that was corrupt and willing to ban someone for no reason. If it is unbelieved that StripclubDJ did in fact send these messages, I did not delete them from my XBOX Live message inbox so I can present them as proof.

I am writing to you in an attempt to get my account unsuspended. I have put hundreds of hours into that account getting it gamerscore and building my ranks up in games, and I will not rest until I am allowed back on XBOX Live. I paid good money for my 12 month subscription card and lots of Microsoft Points that I used to purchase game content, gamerpics, themes, and Xbox Live Arcade Games from the Marketplace. As I mentioned before, I have also put over a year and a half into raising my gamerscore and always striving and competing for a higher score. An alterior motive behind StripclubDJ's getting the guy from Microsoft to ban me could have been so I cannot pass him on the leaderboard. Another motive could be that I am a friend of RANCE6, whom StripclubDJ detests because he passed him on the leaderboard.

Basically what I am asking for is my XBOX Live access on my "Anthrax Addict" account back.

I do not want to have to take this case to higher authorities, but if the need be I will feel obliged to take action against the XBOX Live Service and Microsoft for taking away a service that I paid for, as well as time that has been lost trying to get this figured out, and also emotional barrage that this incident may have caused. I also would want legal action taken due to the fact that my personal information (which I was guaranteed would remain 100% confidential when I signed up for XBOX Live) was given to StripClubDJ.

My terms that I want met are: I want to be unsuspended from the XBOX Live service that I have paid for, and I want to talk with the Microsoft employee that felt that it was necessary to terminate my XBOX Live access – I would like to talk this person either over the XBOX Live service via private chat, through a series of emails, over the phone, or in person. If I cannot speak with this person I would at least like a sincere apology for what they have done to me. If these terms are met I will sincerely be grateful for these actions. I would also like you to consider the seriousness of this action and how actions such of these of a Microsoft employee/associate can elevate. If I were you, I would communicate with higher-ups in Microsoft and tell them that one of their own is abusing their power and performing illegal and immoral actions with the service that they have control over.

Please take my claim seriously. If no action is taken I will continue to make emails and phone calls to Microsoft/The XBOX Live Service about this matter. If nothing comes of this matter, and my account remains unsuspended for no reason I will prepare to take legal action.

Thank you for reading my claim.

Sincerely,

James *********

As you can see, someone corrupt is working for Microsoft and is working for StripclubDJ and will ban anyone on his quest for gamerscore.
Here are some pictures of messages that StripclubDJ sent me:

This is just to show that MS is not in fact holy as some of you may think... they do have corruptions within just like any other company.

So after reading this what are your thoughts being an Xbox Live user and all

Oh, that isn't good man. That is ridiculous, that should be taken straight up to Bill Gates, HIMSELF!! I hope that {pos} that is working for Microsoft gets fired, and that moron "StripclubDJ" can never use his legal name for a subscription again.

1. Is he sure that there isnt something about not being able to sue MS over issues like these in the Terms of Agreement or something like that. It might speak of this topic directly, because I am sure people feel the same way this guy feels all the time.

2. Why did he not report the guys angry messages first? I am sure MS will ask him this.

This is total bullshit and i got an email today too saying my card will soon expire bla bla bla even though i'm paid til march next year there is no need for them to have my card on file but i will get a new one any day now any way. Sounds to me like something else happend here thats missing from this puzzle becuase microsofts people dont just ban people and if they did they would have either refund his money or give a good reason to ban him which taking another user's word isnt enough...

1. He just lost $50, what difference might it make?

2. I have had threats like this before on BF2, etc. and guess what I am still playing now.

Maybe you arent following.

1. It makes a big difference, if he accepted the Terms of Agreement and in there it said he is now allowed to take legal action against MS in a situation like this, then MS will laugh when he threatens to take legal action.

2. Once again, you are following. MS will ask him why he didn't report the threating messages to them instead of waiting it out then getting his accoutn suspended.

As posted above, I would give them both answers. Screw them, that is just sorry, I thought MS had more discipline than that.

oh no man. That it was well bad, im pretty sure that you will get a reply with at least an explanation and hopefully your unsuspension! good luck!

Hmm this is a bit of a sticky wicket...

That guy (StripClubDJ) is really, really sad to get you banned if indeed he did just because you have more points than him, it's almost like he hasn't got dominance elsewhere so he'll just bully anyone who has more points than him so he can overtake them. If this isn't the first time then said staff member could be in a pot of trouble.

Although, we have to tread careful because StripClubDJ may call these claims 'libellious'.

Make sure that this guy does work for MS. More than likely this kid is some script kiddy that hacked you're account and changed your info. Sign back into Live and change your login info and then go into payment options to see if your card is still on file. Just because some guy claims to "work" for MS doesn't mean he has free reign to do what he pleases. If anything else his account would be watched even more closely so he doesn't pull this stuff. File a complaint if anything.

I don't know about all of this, but Microsoft needs valid credit card info for other reasons... you have to enter credit card info for a free trial.

Yea i know what its like trying to get Microsoft to solve an issue it can be extremely hard trying to get an answer let alone a resolution out of them.
I really doubt that this person working at microsoft could get you banned.
I am not 100% sure, but i think that before an account can be banned it needs a full review by the staff, i dont think its as easy as tapping a few buttons on a keyboard. I think that your issue may be a seperate issue.
But the person who gave you the threats, they have breached the agreements of xbox live. If possible access their gamertag and select the option
'file a complaint'.
But do persist with microsoft, and do take it further if you have to.

Uh... I'm willing to bet that there are people that get paid just to ban people all day... I mean look at games like Halo where there are all kinds of cheaters (not so much anymore, but you know), they couldn't keep up if there was any sort of review process before banning.
