I think not. I have five running at present and sometimes six. Keep scanning for spyware as some instances of svchost can be spyware virus etc. As long as your scanner s are not finding anything then consider it normal.
EDIT: To find out what processess are running under each svchost go to a command prompt and type "tasklist /svc" without the quotes
