ive tested and it worked, but in black and white.
so what i have to do?
i can also give the cable back to Clasohlson!!!!! shall i?
(in sweden, even if you open the packet, you can give it back and then buy sth else, :)

my tv is very old, but it worked with bw, i think it has to work also with colors. in google i found some articles but i havve to pay about 20 bucks för an scart adapter.
help me.
thanks

I assume you are trying to connect a pc to a tv
are you outputing in PAL format or NTSC
sweden uses PAL B, G, D or K

ati card?
I remeber having a few issue with my ati 9250 outputting black and white...cant remember how I solved it.
Its something to do with that setting, play around with it....its not likely to be hardware related

It's better than any "PC/DVD SCART Converters" sold in Europe that only provide a black/white signal and there's no need for you to spend more money on an S-Video TV.
Ive never seen this kind of connector they are talking about in my life, you can clearly see that the cable you have has the vidoe and 2 audio chanels going into the header of the scart block

ok, today i went to clasohlson and i talked them about my problem, but they did not know, they said maybe my tv is old but its not. any ideal? help me please

did you sort this out, I did a bit more research and think i have a nandle on your problem!
S-Video and audio (mono) can be transferred through SCART connections as well. However, it was not part of the original SCART standard, and not every SCART-compatible device supports it for this reason. Also, S-Video and RGB are mutually exclusive through SCART, due to the S-Video implementation using the pins allocated for RGB. Most SCART-equipped televisions or VCRs (and almost all of the older ones) do not actually support S-Video, resulting in a black-and-white picture if such a connection is attempted, as only the luminance signal portion is usable.
there is a hack though http://www.chinastillcool.co.uk/solutions/SVIDSCART/SvidSCART01.html
