Swapping Wireless Card in Laptop

Hi all,
I was looking at swapping out the wireless card that is currently in my laptop for a different one, considering the stock wireless card in my laptop isn't dual-band. I was wondering if anyone on here could give me a definitive answer as to whether or not I can use this particular card I was looking at, and if anyone has any other card suggestions, feel free. I was looking at putting a Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 HMWWB in it. Thanks for the help in advance.

HP's are unfortunately very picky about their wireless cards and if you install a card that isn't compatible, the machine will throw an error on boot and not boot. So I'd advise against it.

Yeah, but to make up for that, I looked at the HP system maintenance and service guide for my device myself.

On page 27, section 21 "WLAN Module", it lists all compatible cards. Now that I look again, I think the 6235 is specifically for Japanese versions, but it looks as though the 6230 will work. What's your opinion?
