Switch to 1600 x 1200

Hi. I hope I am posting this in the right place...

I Have a problem: My screen supports 1600 x 1200 pixels but when I adjust it to that with my grafics card, it will be so that you move the mouse out to the side to see the other side of the screen. Before i intalled my grafics card, i could have 1600 x 1200 but not with it installed.... Any suggestions?

i think your secreen have to be 20-21+ to support it and also the video card plays the role too.

what settings is the monitor set to? (i had the ame problem with my monitor 21" )
somewhere you can choose the type monito you have atached to it (you can swich between default monitor, and some other) if windows supports/regognize your monitor,te nae of it will apar in that list to. when i get home, ill post where u can find it

ok, found i here already. righ click on the desktop for properties.
then the configuration tab of your gafic card. there you have to go to advanced. and there should be a tab called monitor

huh. There doesn't seem to be any switching of monitors here.... All there is is a switch of Hertz.

When my grafics card is not installed, It will show 1600x1200 but then the video memory sucks....
