Switching out motherboards?

Hello everyone, so this is my question and i would appreciate any advice or answers you can give me.

So i recently got a Dell Inspiron 9400 for free, its an older model from i think 2007. I play a few video games to pass time and this laptops GPU is integrated into the motherboard and just cant handle the games i want to play. I was wondering if i could switch out this current motherboard for one that isn't an integrated motherboard so i could get a decent graphics card for it. I have found a website that i can buy one for under $120 dollars. Is it possible? what other info will i need to know to do such a thing?

Thanks for any info you can give me.

You will need the motherboard from one that had the 7600 GS or X1400 video card. On top of that, you will only be able to get the 7600 GS or X1400 because of BIOS support. They aren't great video cards anymore.
