Switching settings

I made a new account on my XP machine because I didn't want to be using the admin account, but save it as a back up for when my friends screw up my real account. Is there a way to apply the settings from the admin account to my new account without re-doing everything?

you need to copy admin's profile to the new user account
but it does'nt make sense, if the new user with admin rights screws up your pc it will take effect to your pc cuz it has set to same rights !

makes only sense if you set lower rights for the new user what can not re-configure your admin and hardware sys or drivers

is the admin the only that can re-do the drivers and stuff like that?? I was just going to set my new account to "power user"
