syba sil0680 ide raid

I found an old sil680 ide raid card. i am attempting to use an older system for storage and use my old ide drives in raid but i am having a bit of trouble getting the raid function to work. windows7 will automatically install the pata ide controllerdriver but i need the raid functions. i have done a bit of reading and cant find the answers i am looking for. has anyone used this card before?
I am hoping there is a cd version out there to flash the card with as i dont have floppy.
any input is appreciated. thanks

You should be able to boot into the RAID card menu upon system startup. From there you can assign the drives to an array and Windows will be presented with a single-looking volume.

BIOS Version Press F3 to enter RAID utility.

thanks for your reply. it would seem thats what its supposed to do but there is supposed to be a prompt for f3 to enter raid setup but it never shows. i get the silicone image boot screen and the installed drives show but no f3 option or any other option. it simply continues to windows. i am assuming i have the pata bios and not the sata bios.

I found a dos raid file for the card on driver guide but i am unfamiliar with creating a disk to boot with. what software is the easiest to use to create one?
