system boot error

my first boot up, it goes system disk boot failure, i put in the xp disk, press enter and after like 10secs, same error comes up. wat have i done wrong when puttin all the parts in??, i have no floppy in the comp btw. what causes this message? how do i fix it?

im almost 100% sure the bios needs to be flashed....in order to do this you would need a floppy...they're very cheap alot cheaper than taking it to someone to flash for you so i would look into that and give it a try..i had this problem with the newer processors
