In the System Configuration Utility on Xp(run--> msconfig) what do the options in the BOOT.INI do? All I know is that /NOGUIBOOT gives a black screen at startup instead of the XP logo and the loading bar.
It configures how Windows boots when the computer starts.
For example, /SAFEBOOT will make sure that when the computer starts, Windows will boot into safe mode only.
