Ok this is how it went...was busy on my PC when everything froze. I had to manually restart, except I hear the dreaded one long two short beeps at start-up and then it goes no further. I take it to the a PC repair store who shall remain nameless and they said the 'port' that the sound card was in was not working properly so they shifted it down one, I assume they meant the PCI slots. So I'm happy with that until it does the same thing but this time I get some error message about ATI and graphics..the graphics were really muntered so I could barely make it out. I pull out the sound card and ever since my PC has been running fine, well sound would be nice but it hasn't crashed since. What the hell is going on? Is the MB stuffed or is it the soundcard? Why would it be interfering with the graphics? Thanks in advance for answers!
