System Failed CPU Test

"System Failed CPU Test" is the message my computer keeps bluttering out through the speakers. Everything seems to be fine with the computer but this is getting annoying. I have an ASUS A7N8X-Deluxe.

What do I do about this?
 
can you give more details please?
when does it give the error? does the other sound still work (with bluttering ) and what are the specs of the system we're talking about ;)
 
Is this in post or what?
I had that same problem becuase I was a dumb @$$ and forgot to put on the standoffs and fried one of my dimm slots. Other than that it was all good
 
QUESTIONS 101
Reset the BIOS before you turn the machine on and see if it removes the error. (After reset you will need to go into the BIOS and just save the settings that are already there).
