System Hanging During Mb Screen

Hey guys, i am noticing a problem when i first boot up my computer. It hangs during the motherboard startup screen for a good 2 minutes. I have tried several different things and updates to no avail. I am running Windows x64 and have not had a problem until recently. NO new hardware or software has been installed.

So it stays at the post screen (ie. shows the compaq/hp logo if you have a compaq/hp machine) for a long time before moving on? Go into the BIOS, usually you have to hit the Del key but it could be any of the F# keys as well, you can press them all if you aren't sure, and look for an option for fast POST or something similar.
