System performance slow... do i have a virus/spyware?

My harddrive light is flashing unusually all the time. My modem lights keep flashing.
AVG hasnt detected a virus, nor has adware detected spyware.

Your log looks clean except for this

If you do not know the entry have hijackthis fix it!

You have alot of sony programs running on your computer and they are probably Communicating via the internet, unnecessary programs running on your computer will slow it down!

Select start>run>type msconfig>select the startup tab and uncheck all startup processes that do not need to run all the time. You can select the services tab and check the box that says hide all microsoft services to get an idea of whats running on your computer, you do not want to uncheck anything like your firewall or antivirus but things like messenger and ipod for example do not need to be running all the time!
